I don't need the commentary as I am watching on tv, but boy is Casey playing well. I love his no nonsense caddy telling the inconsiderate gallery members to shut up in no uncertain terms as well.
He is no doubt one of my favorite golfers for various reasons and I really hope he sees this through to the end. He just struck an iron shot to 5 feet so hopefully he can hole the birdie putt.
Oh and it's a good job I got my £5 ew on him for the masters on today, before an inevitable price cut.
Casey is a good player if not s little streaky. For what its worth the odds of him winning next week are slim at best, I think only two or three folks have wont a major and the comp the week before it so EW is a good bet.
Does the link you posted for video coverage not work today? I think it was you anyway, because I used it at the time.
I wouldn't worry if not though, the amount of intermittent stoppages is so frustrating! The way casey is striking the ball is superb though, he is handling the wind very well.
He is just teeing up on 18, now that is a hole where you need picture coverage- how intimidating is that tee shot!

I agree with what you say and if I am truly honest with myself I don't think he has the game to out do others over Augusta National. He is however in a great vein of form and him being a favorite golfer just encouraged me to make the bet. A top 5 finish will see me win £35 so I'm not too worried, and still pretty optimistic. I would never have taken any less than 28/1 on him in a competition like the masters though, I would have been looking for closer to 50s to be honest but I think I should get some sort of return. I also backed two other players but I will keep those cards close to my chest. If Casey wins I can see him dropping to around the 16/1 mark which in my eyes would represent a false economy.
Get in there! It's always nice to see a home player triumph in the states. Can anyone explain the bagpipes playing at the end of the round during Casey's interview though lol?
