Pete Cowen DVD

I have a couple of his DVD's and whilst they are good they do seem to be aimed at Tour Pro's or very low cappers. They do suffer a bit from information overload as well. Save you money I reckon and look at You Tube for tips( Mark Crossfield, Shawn Clement etc)

After the recent rise and success of Louis Oosthuizen, its seems from the outside Pete Cowens teachings are paying off. Ive noticed his DVD on Amazon for about £30, which seems to me a bit pricey. Has anyone bought and had any success with the DVD and is it worth the money in investing?

Hi
To be honest with you thats around the cheaper side of the bar that ive seen these going for in the last few years.

I also really like the Crossfield youtube vids, theyve come in handy for a few handy dandy drill for me. In_the_rough, do you play in Chesterfield? I grew up playing Tapton as a youg-un.

I split my time between Preston and Chesterfield as I am a student on a Golf Management/Performence course. I am originally from Chesterfield but study at Preston, I played at Chesterfield Golf Club. Played Tapton many times and it was one of the best muni's I have been on anywhere. I finish for the Summer in 4 weeks so will be back in Chesterfield for 4 months so will be playing all the local tracks again. SIV have taken over the running of Tapton now though, is it still as good now? Played Matlock many times as well

Great stuff. You're up at Myerscough? Eye it's still a very nice track up Tapton. SIV had done a lot of work to the clubhouse area and were tidying up both courses last time I was through. They still have that 600yarder he he. I haven't played Chesterfield for a good few years so I'll make a visit through. I tend to play Abbeydale when back up Sheffield as family members, worth a visit ther if 4months to kill. Cheers.

Yep I am at Myerscough. Been good as well I worked at the Dunhill Links Championship and the Castellon Masters as part of the course complete with behind the ropes access which was an eye opener. Yep remember the 600 yarder well!! Will deffo go back there when I return for the summer. Played Abbeydale last year and it is very nice indeed, lots of bunkers though think you need to play it a few times to know where to aim etc, I had a shocker the time I went though I was level par after 5 holes and ended up struggling to break 100 which for playing off 15 is awful. Anyway see ya later
