Guys,
Looking for a wee bit of insider info from the 'locals'. I'm arranging a trip for 12 men for two days golf, already arranged Pitlochry and Murrayshall as this is the the preferred courses but i'm looking for accomodation in Perth, preferably city centre, any suggestions?

Check out the SAGA Tours brochure for ideas...........no that's not fair I'm sure there are some 50 something's visiting Perth :D

There's a few Travelodges in Perth that are not far from the centre ,as most thing are as its not that big a place, i would ditch Murrayshall as its crap.

I have worked in Perth for two years now mate, so for food/drink recommendations I am your man! Like Steve said give me a PM nearer the time and I will be glad to help! If you can venture out a bit further you should visit my track Alyth, she is good value and a great wee course. Strathmore and Glenisla are also both good. King James VI in Perth is a decent option and if you like hilly courses then Craigie Hill is good fun.

Cheers Deke,
I usually play Alyth and Glenisa and Forfar with another group every year, your course is the best in the area, really enjoy it. Thanks for the offer i'll contact you nearer the time

We stayed at the Ramada Perth last year are would definitely recommend it.

An outing and overnighter up there deserves to be played at Blairgowrie IMO, not knocking Alyth or any others but Blair is one of the best inland clubs in the UK with 2 championship worthy courses.

agree with the Rosemount, but wasn't overly impressed by the Lansdowne Val maybe just a bit early in the year.
