In July next year Tashyboy and a couple of pals have arranged a golf day for past and present employees of Thoresby Colliery.

we have toyed with the idea of giving all the lads a poker chip ball marker which would be personalised (about 70 ).

Then probably doing hoping to do the same with some golf balls. we have 64 two ball packs, so it would just be a case of having them "printed".

Trouble is I have not got a clue where to start, I'm not even sure a company would want to help, what with us having our own balls.

Lastly, because we're paying for it ourselves with no sponsor, they would ideally be cheap.

many thanks for any suggestions re where to go.

You could look at personalised pitchmark repairers. Balls and ball markers tend to go missing.

I could get you 70 of them, but they would have Bearwood Lakes stamped on them.:D

You may have trouble convincing someone to print your own balls. Plenty will sell you some printed balls. Titleist are doing it FOC as usual this Xmas but that doesn't help as you already have the balls.
Some class ads in mags advertising personalised bits.

Hey Tashy..Don't forget to take some paper bags with you for the sparky's and fitter's for a lie down half way round..;)..Have a great time.

no Mike doesnt do PM , email him , just look in any of his posts and there is an email link in it...

OR as Phil said ha

I beg to differ:whistle:

I dont know anyone who likes poker chips- pitch repairer personalised would be better imo and you can 'stamp' your own balls -oooeerr missus --- with a kit

A man who can read my mind :D. Chock nogs and splits at the ninth tee so they can ave a minute. I have sent an email to MikeH so fingers crossed. Quite like the pitchmark repair idea.

"Stamp yer own balls" only in golf could you get away with that. Quality.

Could try contacting the guys at Scotty Dog golf. I got a few customised ball markers from them with pitch fork gift sets. Marker quality is good and was a very reasonable price for such low volume orders. He was able to offer some very competitive prices for bulk though and the personalised marker with pitch repairer on the site come with 5 markers but could likely do a deal for repairers with 1 marker each.

Another place I've had good experience with was http://www.printaball.com. Could contact them re: printing costs for your own balls and they do customised ball markers in bulk.

The Asbri stuff is great but the full customised pitch repairers don't come that cheap. The customised marker with repair tool could be the most cost effective.
