Clubs are cleaned, car is packed (ie beer and clubs are in it)ready for an early start tomorrow for a boys weekend in Cornwall. 36 holes at Perranporth tomorrow, with 18 at Roserrow and then surfing on Saturday. With a few(!) beers thrown in I will probably need a week to recover.

Excited? Me?

Any tips for Perranporth? Most reviews are great, but it is criticised for too many blind shots (hence the 36 - get a look at it and know what to expect in the afternoon). Weather is predicting only 2 mph wind, so it hopefully won't bite too badly!!

 :) :D

Perranport is a great course. I love it - however you are right there are a lot of blind shots. Make sure you get a course planner.

Couple of tips - keep the ball low, especially at this time of year. The course is quite high up above the village and the wind can blow your ball off line very easily. Secondly, glean as much info out of locals/members/pro as you can before going out. They will help where abouts to aim on those blind shots.

Have a great time - I did
