Anyone played here? Me and the better half are staying there Sunday evening and I'm wondering what the course is like to see if it's worth the internal world war when I suggest taking the sticks!

not played it but pooped in for a look at the place a few years back and it is very classy - I think it is more a big pitch and put but looks very pretty. The hotel looks very nice and the spa is supposed to be awesome - but take a fat wallet!!

Pretty much what I thought re the golf. Never played the course but a few flying visits to the hotel give the impression that it is pleasant and well kept but nothing spectacular. Let us know how it plays…………..

Same here, been there tons of time for work stuff, but never played the course! Facilities are fantastic though, as is the food and spa! I would leave the clubs at home and have a relax day!

Played it about 15 years ago from what i remember it is a short 9 holer around par 30. The par 4's are all fairly short as well. You can get round in just over an hour so Ideal while the Doris is faffing around in the spa or getting ready.

Restaurant facilities are top notch great restaurant with a fantastic wine cellar

Pennyhill Park is a real treat, so enjoy it. The course is a short 9-hole course and a good way to wind down. Just throw in a half set and a carry bag and see how it goes with escaping whilst HID is being pampered!

I stayed there with the missus last year for our anniversary. The whole place is top notch.

The golf course is probably decent enough, it'll certainly be pretty, but I didn't play it and just lazed around in the spa (which is the best I've been too, albeit a bit busy and with a certain footballer type crowd). Be sure to have a dip in the ice pool....
