Please HELP
Hitting a ball over a lake, par 3. Ball clears lake over yellow stakes/lines but rolls back into lake, do we under new rules have to drop back and clear lake again as before. What are the new 2019 rules when ball rolls back into penalty area. In the Honda Classic last weekend V J Singh par 3 cleared lake on 17th, ball rolled back into water, yellow markers, he dropped a club length or two just where it had rolled in, so didn’t have to carry the lake again, was that a local rule, I’m confused Help.
