PB Yesterday

I'm a happy chap today after shooting a personal best in our summer league yesterday evening.

It's a 9 hole course and competition with a par of 33. Off 22 at the moment and for the last month I've been getting +0.1s and scoring low-mid teens Stableford scores.

Yesterday it all clicked, driver were straight and 10-15 yards longer with my new driver, approaches didn't find trouble in hazards, chipping found the green (some not close, but one chip in helped) and putting was never worse than a 2 putt.

Carded 38 and scored 24 Stableford points so that should see me jump up a few places in the table and I'm looking forward to seeing my handicap move down instead of up for a change!

And before anyone else types it, I might as well drop in the 'B' word - Bandit!!
Too bad is was Summer League and not a Medal comp

Just got confirmation of a cut of 2 on my handicap as well. First time I've had a cut that's me me happy rather than filled me with dread wondering how I'm going to play to it next time out!!

You should not worry and not get stressed about the next round. Look at all the positive things you did and think about them. You have proved you can do it and it is repeatable. The handicap thing is a distraction just enjoy your good shots and rise to the challenges of your bad ones.
Oh and well played! It's tough to keep a lid on a good score !
