PayPal/eBay gurus advice please

I only just started using eBay to sell items and the 2nd item I sold was a shaft from my R1. I put it on for a reasonable buy it now and within 24hrs it had sold.

The guy paid via PayPal straight away yesterday and when I started packing it up today I've noticed he has zero feedback on eBay.

Is this ok do you reckon or dodgy? His paypal address is confirmed whatever that means??

Am I covered by PayPal if after he gets the shaft he tries to claim or do a visa chargeback etc??

If hes paid by PayPal you should be fine, although make sure you get a tracking number from courier.
Once the money's in your PayPal account only PayPal can reverse the payment if he claims not as listed would be the only reason.
If you are really concern despatch and get your money out of PayPal but a new ebayer shouldn't cause any concern we all have to start somewhere.

If his address is verified, you are fine.

Taking the money out of PayPal is useless, if PayPal want it, they will just take it from your bank attached to the account. It's all in the terms and conditions! As per above, proof of postage and ideally a signed for type of postage is a just really. PayPal will ALWAYS side with the buyer...

I've bought and sold to zero feedbackers, never had a problem yet.

you should be fine, the worry is buying from 0% feedback sellers

Sometimes in the past I have found new 0% ebayers do not have a paypal account and then do not pay

You can also add your own conditions and not sell to anybody with a low feedback if you choose

Thanks guys, Looks like it'll be fine then.

I've packaged it very well and it'll RM special delivery anyway so we should be ok!
