Pavins pick

you'd think Woods Cink and Johnson are certs, plenty of options for the 4th and Hoffman may have thrown a spanner in there last night, Anthony Kim must be another he considers though Fowler's Walker Cup record may be enough to swing it his way

Cannot believe Cink may get in,he's been poor by his standards all year but it looks like he may get the nod....then again I said that about Padriag Chopper Harrington. ;)

I would go for Woods,Johnson,Glover/O'Hair and I'll eat my words,Fowler.

Hoffman
Cink
Fowler
Johnson or Glover . . .

I dont think he'll take Woods.... They didnt need him last time

He will definitely pick Woods, Cink and Johnson plus one other. He is conservative by nature so if I was to have a bet, I would go for Ben Crane.

PS - if I was in his shoes there is absolutely no way I would have three of that four.

I would go for Johnson, Watney, Holmes and Fowler.

No real surprises in his picks. He had a far easier choice than monty did.

Still can't believe he picked Harrington. 'Mr average all year at best' isn't playing well enough to be in europes side. Then again is woods playing well enough to be in USA's side? Seems like reputation is the thing to have rather than a good season.

Have a search back 2 years on the forum, poulter was second last in a comp bring discussed and we were all slating him for the Ryder cup, turned out ok for him.
Harrington will be fine.

I will bet Harrington doesn't do great and also he will be limited to fourballs & singles as his patchy form will IMO take him out of the foursomes.

No suprises with the picks,I wouldn't have had Cink but i think he has been picked as an 'experiance' pick a la Harrington...only difference being Cink is actually showing a bit of form lately.

I'll back Harrington all the way but like most he probably wasn't their immediate choice. Hope he does do a 'Poulter' and shines throughout the cup. :)
