Paultons Park closing???

Heard on the grapevine today that Paultons Park golf club may be closing to make room for the expansion of the theme park next door.
Just wondered if anyone has heard anything about this as our society goes up there. That'll be the 4th one that's closed that was on our playing schedule

Wow, that is a surprise. Whenever i've played there its always been really busy. That'll be a disappointment.

Yeah when I heard it I was surprised. Always packed out with societies and non members. Hope it isn't true. It's not the greatest course in the land, but never like to see one close its doors.
