passthrough powerline extenders

They are the best ones out there for domestic use

Never had issues with them, need to get a set for my current place so I can get off this damn wireless which is hogged by mobile devices! Ruins my gaming!

I have used them in the past to both fill high use dead spots (one at either end of house) and to connect desktop PCs wired rather than wireless (resulting in a better quality game).

If you set them to the same SSID and PW you should be able to move seamlessly around without "changing networks".

IIRC you have to fiddle with the settings so they dont both try to assign IPs, prob best to dig up a guide off the net.

I have a TP 500 with the passthrough. Does a great job without taking up a power socket.

I got my parents one of the power line extenders that also creates a wifi hotspot. Was a mare to get it to clone the wifi successfully but works great now.
