Hell yeah, in the same way the yanks have the Baseball World Series and the Superbowl winners are World Champions.

The World Series was named after the Newspaper that initially sponsored the event.
Not sure about the NFL World Champions thing though.

Are there not both baseball and American Football leagues in other countries beyond USA ?
For example the Canada Football League and Nippon Baseball League - so whilst the NFL and MLB are the top leagues in the sport they can't call themselves "World Champions" unless they actually beat the others on the field in a "World Competition"
Ultimately until then they are -Champions of the NFL and MLB and not "World Champions"

I think it's generally accepted (obviously apart from you) that the US teams play at a far higher level than any other league in the world.

as for free running one of these guys killed a dog in Liverpool when he jumped over a wall blind and landed on some old guys dog , it could have been a small child .
If they are going to make it a sport they should not be allowed in public places.

Going out for a job isn't Sport but running in a race is.
Going out for a bike ride isn't, riding in race is
Doing 20 lengths in the pool isn't until you're racing someone....Then it is...
