I've got a really nice Galvin Green Jacket that HID got me for my birthday. Thing is it's a long way off christmas and I'm reckoning there may be a slight chance of rain before christmas pops along again.
Any body know of any cheap but decent waterproof pants, preferably ones that don't make you sweat like Shane Macgowan going to the dentist, and that don't leak??
I know I should get the Galvin's but they're not cheap.

Nike Gore Tex Paclite trousers are pretty good. I thoink I got my whole suit for about 100 quid online so you can probably get the trousers only for fairly cheap (compared to Galvins anyway)

I know its not known as golf gear but I use Berghaus trousers, As good as anything else you'll find, if not better.
Think they cost about £40 from Go Outdoors.

Yep, absolutely nothing wrong with Berghaus trousers for golfing. Even their jackets are great, only maybe a little on the bulky side for golf. I used to use my Berghaus waterproofs until I got a "proper" golf set.
