Little abarth 32,000 miles in 8 yrs from new, golf Tuesday so panic mode set in like most years but flew through.

Do you stress out when its mot time? Honestly sometimes I get in the buy a new car mode to avoid them 😕 when I don't actually need one.

£30 bargain tho 😀

Nope, I never worry about my cars and their MOT's. I always take mine to somewhere thats only an MOT station, so there can be no chance of "vested interests" items needed doing.

Always used to fix my own vehicles but I am longer able to do so...
So, when unsurprisingly at 130,000mls, car failed MOT with worn suspension joints I begrudged the £150 labour charges..

Its just me then, no use for a company car I've been retired since 2004 😱 @ 31

I'm going to start working @67 when I'm nackered and unable to cycle or golf 😀 (already nackered from 30yrs of cricket)

35 mins mot guy was excellent, glad I stripped the front wheels down yesterday and cleaned everything up, polished the boots and shocks and wheel arches 😱 overkill or what?

32,000 miles in 8 yrs the Abarth 500 cannot be made in Italy 😝

The thing that used to worry me the most was the emissions test when I drove a 2.5 litre diesel Transit. The day before I always used to get out the white spirit and a wire brush and clean out the last few inches of the exhaust pipe.

My vehicles these days never get to 8 years old and I only do 6-8k a year and get serviced at least every other year so I never worry.
