I was thinking of trying to playing in their seniors open tomorrow as i've never played it before. But i see today they have 5 temp greens being played, would it be still worth the journey to play for £12 . any advice guys.

Thanks in advance

If it's a game your after then fine, but if you are looking to maybe cut your handicap then give it a miss. £12 seems a bit steep for one in every three greens not in play and you mus ask if that many greens are off what is the rest of the course like.

May be worthwhile giving the pro a call in the morning to see if the greens are back on as it may just be a temp measure, been quite wet thru here today but I believe tomorrow is dry. Best to call Andy the pro in the morning who by all accounts is very helpful.
I Would recommend playing its a nice course with a few challenging holes & I enjoyed it when I played.

Decent enough track, a couple of stupid holes but overall a good track. A few doglegs but holds the water so after today I'd be wearing wellies.

As the big yin sang "if it wiznae fur yer wellies where wid ye be!"
