In a sad and lonely moment my mind has been attempting to dredge up some mildly amusing potential professional pairings.
Bernard Gallacher and Sandy Lyle would bring back memories for 70s pop fans, and you can nearly do the same for Emerson (Gary), Lake (??) and Palmer (Arnie).
What about Luke Donald and John Senden, so nearly combining to make up the amusingly deep-voiced actor from the classic sit-com "Never the Twain".
And I've always thought pairing Bob May with Brian Gay and Glen Day would raise a smile, especially if you threw in one-time European Golden Boy, Paul Way, to make up the fourball.
Anyone else got some inspired pairings....?

Raymond Russell and Gordon Brand to make Britain's most irritating celebrity...

Kenny Perry and Carl Mason to indulge in a spot of detective work...

And would it be fair to put Tom Kite out with Graeme Storm or Terry Gale (Euro Tour senior)??...

little bit weak furyk with that last one - back to the drawing board for yoou son!

how about Thomas Bjorn and Michelle Wie...get it....let me know if anyone does it requires some lateral thinking!

If the actor Eric Bana married Kevin Na's sister and she chose to keep her maiden name as part of a double-barrelled surname, she would be Mrs Bana-Na.

I know this is an old post, but I've just come across it.

Trueblue, pleeeaaaase explain the Thomas Bjorn Michelle Wie one to me. It's doin' my head in.

And why stop there. Any new suggestions?
