Not regular but have the stock Kuro Kage shaft with a golf pride multi compound grip, both in excellent condition hardly used if that would interest you as a swap?

May not be what the OP had in mind, but I know this shaft plays softer than the stiff label it comes with

Sorry mine is from the tour model, which I think is a bit different to the non tour model. Either will play softer than a black tie though.

Is the Black Tie stiffer than normal box standard stiff shafts then? I've got a Black Tie the same as in the OP in my SLDR (fitted) and thought I was always borderline between stiff & reg!

Miyazaki measure the stiffness of shafts at 4 points. The 6M3 is rated 5499 with 5 at the butt end being fairly stiff & 9 at the tip very stiff. The 7M3 will be similar, I imagine. A feature of the Black Tie is the tip stiffness but my regular shaft doesn't feel stiff because of the flexible butt section. The tip stiffness is what gives the shaft its unique low flight.

For that series, Matrix have 3 flight models...Black Tie is Low, Red Tie is Medium and White Tie is their High flight model. Spin is relatively low (compared to flight) on all models, though Black Tie has lowest. 'Stiff' is quite a personal feel attribute. Apar from the XCon series, I don't find Matrix shafts particularly stiff, though that series (5/6/7 X/Q/M) is a little boardier than others.
