Just what is she doing at the moment exactly? :mmm: She's got in power without a vote taking place, and now, it seems to me doesn't know what to do. She's got the biggest political and financial re-organisation to sort out our four countries have had to deal with and, again, it seems to me she's just shrugging her shoulders and saying er I dunno.

It's what you wanted lady, get on with it !

I think she is on holiday at the moment, even politicians are allowed them. Surprisingly the country always seems to operate okay when the Commons is shut and the politicians are away.

A vote did take place - it's called the general election. You elect a party. That party then selects its leader and can change this leader at any time.

I hope you understood this if/when you voted because you don't seem to now!

It's been like that for years, we elect a Party not a person ....

That's where too many people are getting things wrong :D

To be honest I think that if you asked her in May if she would be PM in July she would have laughed at you, its probably come as a big surprise and im sure you wouldnt want someone coming into a job like that to start a load of new broom policies without them being thought through.

Its parliamentary recess time, so its closed, there will be stuff going on behind closed doors, so watch this space.

as to the lack of an election for PM, Jim Callaghan, John Major and Gordon Brown all became PM without one, and LBJ and Gerald Ford become president in the States. So its not just us

Summer recess so she's on holiday.

Actually, there lots going on about the EU exit within the folk who will have to manage it - work has been going on in Whitehall and Outside Govt Depts since the vote. MPs are on holiday -

The BBC, The Guardian, Daily Mirror and half the Labour Party are still agitating to stay in....and will continue to do for as long as they can. Not sure what will be left to stay in with - a poll in France yesterday revealed 61% in favour of "Frexit" (I was shocked how massively Eurosceptic they were when I went to work there in 2009) But our Press doesn't report on stuff like that. With the recent troubles there don't be surprised if their next Gen Election see a big jump to Right of Centre. (and being France, that might be quite a distance!)

Merkel is hugely unpopular in Germany... the natives there are getting increasingly angry too... they are now concerned that if UK goes (net contributor) and France is wavering, that leaves Helmut to pay for all of it! (as near as dam it!) EU is in trouble my friends, been on the cards for a little while.

I think this too!

But still, if you'd just been made PM out of the blue, would you go on holiday? I know I wouldn't! I'd be making plans for my world domination!!!!! And get the top brains in to find a way of taxing the very rich big style without them knowing it, paying particular attention to top paid footballers.

What needs done right now ? Everything seems a lot quieter and better when they leave the country alone

To be honest I'd prefer it if the leaders of this country are rested and have had the chance to recharge their batteries now and then. No one makes clever decisions if they are exhausted and people need time to think things through.

might be best if you did go on holiday ;)
