A nicey-nicey thread.

Having played with a number of forumers, you may have picked up a few tips along the way, whether offered or via observing their game. Let's hear yours...

Bigslice/Farneyman- put the lob wedge away Dave.

williamalex1- how to plot your way round a course without getting into trouble. The world's most infuriating opponent due to his course management skills.

Birchy- power through the ball just before impact, not at the top.

Justone- one day, you'll be able to hit the back of the range too, Dave.

Liverbirdie - Infuriatingly steady with a razor sharp shortgame. Plays to his fade off the tee and gets it round tough courses very impressively.

Fairway Dodger - Very straight driver with a lovely rhythmical swing !! I dont believe Kaz would ever mis-hit a shot.

Pokerjoke - Thinks his way around a course brilliantly and has a very very reliable, and repeatable swing. Deadly chipper & putter too !!

Garyinderry - The best shortgame / chipper

PeterLav - The best swing i've seen from a forummer.

NWJ - The golfer who could be the lowest handicap - great swing , baby-draw off the tee and very long. 7 handicap but when he learns to chip and pitch will be off 2.

Cheers Dave, I'm not sure if that's a compliment knowing your humour and your way with words. Keep practicing , but save some cash for your next match / lesson with me. ::whistle:

Birchy's no nonsense approach to driving. Within half a second of addressing the ball he has hit it down the middle and picks up the tee. No real need to watch the flight. No shouting at it to come back. Its away down the middle.

Still catches me out with the speed he sets up and goes.

uve done well with ure handicap since Haggs castle. must have been my advice cos i dont understand a word the irish boy says. lol

Aye do you remember that day at Haggs Castle when the number 1 seed was knocked out of Britians Best Putter matchplay section at the first hurdle...

Echo BigSlice on the good work with the handicap Dave. Look forward to catching up this season for a hit or two!

Qwerty Dave - his ability to always have chocolate hob nobs in his bag.

Oh aye, he strikes a lovely, effortless controlled leisurely drive that goes for miles, as well.
