hi all, first post.

im off to florida at the end of this month and i want to play whilst im there. going with my mrs amd lad but have a couple of mates over at the same time.

we want to play a nice course, for a decent price.

dont fancy $100+ for a round and club hire etc.

so im just wondering if anyone knows of anything decent, cheap(ish) and not too far away. im staying on Int. drive.


i fancied playing 'celebration' but its too pricey with the club hire/time of year etc!!

Hi Barca and welcome.
I am just back from Florida and played six different courses, non of them bad, but some better than others. The cheapest we played was Highlands Reserve http://www.highlandsreserve-golf.com/golf/proto/highlandsreserve-golf/index.htm @ $58 including buggy hire and the next was Timacuan http://www.golftimacuan.com/golf/proto/golftimacuan/index.htm @ $69. I have no idea how much club hire is, but I suspect it wouldn't be too much.

I would recommend highlands reserve as well.
Also i hear southern dunes is supposed to be fantastic but i'm not sure if $70 at twilight hours is too much for you

Check out previous posts Orlando Golf I would also suggest buying a second hand set of clubs instead of hire.

I would recommend Southern Dunes too. Great course and great service
