Just done a search and there's nowt on the forums about Orka.
Considering that they are garnering some good reviews (Including winning in the blade category in our very own GM)
Does any of you have an experience with these clubs...how was the fitting? What's the build quality like?

Your search must have bombed, there's been plenty on here about Orka in the past.

Not from me though

I think GB72 is your man - although I could be wrong. Good kit but just doesn't have the kudos of a "name" to really break through.

I have had quite a bit of experience with Orka clubs and would very much recommend them. Used to have nearly a full bag or Orka kit. Started out with a Kii driver which was pretty decent if a bit run of the mill. added the Kii irons and hybrid and those were superb. Really regretted changing them. Irons were forgiving without being totally without feel whilst the hybrid is still one of the longest that I have ever hit. Still have a forged FK2 wedge in the bag and that is unlikely to ever be changed.

The advantage with Orka is that they they all come fitted by very good club fitters. I went to Strikeright golf near Northampton and over 2 sessions the fitter spent over 3 hours with me with no pressure to buy. If my clubs suited or could be adjusted to suit then they stayed and if shafts or anything else could be put into more suited heads then they were. Orka are easily on a par with any other manufacturer selling at a similar or higher price.

My only concern really is that their latest ranges are that bit more expensive and they may find it harder to compete at that price point.

Not tried any of their better player gear but really like the idea that you can have your name or anything stamped on your irons.

I was seriously considering Orka after GB's rave review; the only reason I didn't go that route was the deal I got on the MacGregors (unbeatable).
Had a problem with the fitter that I went to but the CEO of Orka was on the phone to me within 24 hours to find out what the problem was. (I think they dropped that fitter.)

I had Orka Kii heads fitted on to my existing, rubbish, irons. My play with irons deteriorated very badly and I was blaming the tools so I changed to Cobra SZ.
Now I realise it was my rubbish swing. :( :( :(
