I know that in a 4BB matchplay situation, if you are on the green and sitting furthest away from the hole you can elect that your playing partner putts first to maybe secure a par to enable you to have a go for birdie despite the fact that his ball is sitting closer to the hole than yours.
But can you do this in a betterball Stableford as it's a stroke play format, not matchplay?
Let him try to secure the 5 for 2 leaving you free to have a run at the 4 for 3???

Always best to check. Nothing worse than being pulled up on the course by some guy who is adamant that he's right only to find out later that the self appointed "expert" was no such thing.

Yep. Now you can sit and wait for the sod to call you and take some beer/money off him! :)

You nasty evil plotter! :D

A reminder though Rob - when you've got a putt for '6 for 0' you can pick your ball up and leave it to your partner!!
