Hi all,
I'm new to the forum here I was wondering whether anyone had any positive or negative opinions on the motocaddys7 remote electric trolley Or M1 pro DHC? Am thinking of getting one or other as I play on quite a lengthy hilly course.

THANKS!

Hi and welcome. I personally wouldn't have a remote trolley as I'd feel self conscious (aka a bit of a prat) using one. I'm personally happy with an off and on switch and a roller that makes it go faster and slower. The more there is on it, the more likely it is to go wrong.
A friend of mine has just bought one and we all extract the urine with him about it.
But, it's your money so buy what you like.

Not sure they are "ridiculous", nor anything worth taking the p*ss over? Several folk at my placs have them. Only thing I'd say is that they are pricey and a "conventional" leccy functions well enough. Think of what you could buy with the difference!!

I have an S7. Its great. The only issue i have with it is the 27 hole battery. It would be nice occasionally to have 36.

It is better for my back, as my posture is better. I can walk to where my ball is, and steer my trolley around greens, tees, rope, etc. I can look for my ball in the rough, and then bring my trolley to me, rather than go back 50 yards to get it.

Its big though. And heavy. Hooker on here has one too.

Better than the Stewart trolley, and much cheaper. The Stewarts are a bit stop start in the way they steer, and seem fragile.

A few friends have the Stewart version and swear by it for the reasons murphthemog states (no hunching over etc)

Personally I don't think they're ridiculous at all & if money was no object I'd get one (either s7 or Stewart)

I've used a remote trolley for over 3 years & I swear by it. In winter you can keep your hands in your pockets & stay warm. Also, at my club, they put white "no go" lines around greens in the winter. Having a remote trolley saves a lot of walking. Nobody takes the mick out of mine, especially the ones I've mown down with it!
