Are the regional qualifying comps 18 or 36 holes ?

I'm sure when I went last year they were playing in the afternoon but can only see morning tee times at my local event.

Just had a look at the Woburn field, looks a bit softer than in previous years but still includes the likes of Mike Weir, Robert Rock, Oli Fisher, Jeev Milka Singh, and Paul Dunne who has won it the last 2 years

Regionals are 18 and likely even par gets in, the Finals are 36 and will require something quite deep around -4 or -5 to get through, probably more (I can't seem to find last years scores anywhere).Full of proper full time playing professionals on the challenge/European tour and elite national squad ams rather than the locals which are generally "just" europro tour players at the top end

I agree. There is a huge step change between the golf at the Regionals and that in the Finals. Even just being on the practice ground and having top pro's either side of you, I was caddying, its very noticeable the different sound as they hit the ball. Distance might be similar but the click of contact is so clean and pure.
