Jordan Rhodes just netted 5 tonight in a 6-0 win at Wycombe taking his seasons tally to 27.........just praying we can keep hold of him during this transfer window....

Awesome performance from a very good player. Don't forget the guys who set him up though.
Rhodes acknowledged that fact.
Lee Clarke stated he aint going anywhere. I certainly hope he isn't.
Disappointed he didn't net 6, sign of a poor finisher!

The Hoops are sniffing about this fine young Scot but that'll be another Million on his tag so at what £5 million we aint got a chance!

He looks the real deal too!

Guys, Guys...

Don't forget he scored 5 against Wycombe!!

We couldn't even find the Blind School let alone beat them.........

He is pretty sharp though..

7-1 wasn't it against Palace a few years ago???? :ears:

Why, yes it was Rick. I was there to bear testament too. Took my time finishing my half time beverage and missed the 2nd half kick off. Marcus Stewart scored almost straight away. I told my mate not to be too concerned as we would probably see him score another!!!:whoo:

Behave!!!

You're talking about 1999 - we were in administration then! We had our kids out. Mind you, we still smashed Blackburn 2-1 with a certain Ashley Cole on loan from Arsenal at left back.

Mind you, within four years we were in the Premiership - you'd slipped into the Sports Direct league - Northern division by then, hadn't you??? ;)

Happy Days...Clyde Wijnhard was never the same after nearly ripping his arm off in that car accident...:(

Happy days indeed! I was young, free and single then! Following the Palace home and away.

We're on the march with Stevie's army......

Stevie Coppell's red and blue army!

Why do we get old so quickly???

Were you at the above game AW?

Brilliant Town performance. Almost felt sorry for Palace.

Probably.

I always had a rule - when the 4th goal goes in - sing louder than the oppo fans...... :p

I went to Palace not to see them win - we hardly ever do that. I went because, to me, they were the greatest team on earth. Silly I know, but back then, it mattered.

I think I've had too much red wine......

Very good thought AW. I've seen Towns ups and more commonly downs! They are MY team, the best in the world. And that's why I'll always be a Town fan. I live there and most likely will die there and to me there is only one team to follow, the one whose name bears the name of my place of birth.

Amen.;)
