Hi, I'm new to the game of golf, although I know the basics through a few tips from my dad over the years. It's great getting out on the course, but i'm keen to improve. A lot and as quickly as I can!
The coaching sessions with the local pros are a bit of a stretch for me financially. I've seen a couple of websites that will analyse a video of your golf swing and send you tips remotely.
I can easily record this on my camera in my back garden, but wondered if anyone had any experience of these sites and would know if they are useful.
Thanks in advance for any help!

If you are going to send a clip of your swing then it must be of you actually hitting a ball. Back garden swings are a world away from the real thing.

Completely agree.

I could see see this kind of coaching helping. Lots of pros teach using video anyway.

One thing to bear in mind is if the pro sends you a checklist of things you need to improve, be careful not to try to do them all at once. One change at a time is better.

Most of these sites offering online analysis of a swing charge anyway. In my opinion you are better off getting a decent pro looking at you in real time and giving you tips and drills you can then take away and work on. Much harder to be totally certain of faults from a badly shot 2D film and therefore give accurate and complete fixes
