One Week to Go

With only a week to go to The Belfry meet I wondered if anyone had put any plans in place. For those on the 2 day trip, what time are people looking to pitch up? I assume people are looking to hit a few balls before teeing up etc so thought I would put this question up with a view to meeting up first and putting a few faces and names to forum tags. I would certainly be up for an earlier meet, a bit of late breakfast and a coffee before heading out.

I'm only going for the 2nd day but really looking forward to it now. Should be good seeing every one.

Would be looking forward to it if there was even a glimmer of form returning.

Still, playing tonight, Friday, Saturday, Medal on Sunday, and then Tuesday night, so a bit of time left to find some game.

Failing that, I will have run out of balls before getting to the Belfry.

I'm only there for day two aswell, 8.40 tee off.
So I'll be there early that day to hit a few on the range.

I presume handicap certificates won't be required for the event?

I seem to remember that because it is a GM event, that you don't need them.

I'm only there for the second day, but realy looking forward to it. If I don't do to well in Saturday's comp, I'll even have another shot to play with.

I shall be downloading the course to my skycaddy this afternoon.

I have comps on Saturday and Sunday this week to warm up for the big day. Sadly have just gained an extra shot as went up from 21.4 to 21.5 the week before last.

I had thought about setting out about 8 and aim to arrive for 10'ish but I may decide to leave earlier - coming via the A14.

(No check-in details yet but I presume they'll be on their way soon?)

A leisurely breakfast, a good poke around the proshops, terrify ourselves on the putting green, embarrassment on the range and a few photos - sounds good to me.

We too are ony able to make the 2nd day, travelling down that morning and teeing off at 10:00, so aiming to arrive 8:00 to 8:30.

My 2nd forum event and really looking forward to meeting more of the gang

I'm so jealous i'm not on this trip, really enjoyed playing the brabazon last time out and would have liked to put some names to faces.

I am there for both days and will probably get there mid morning on the Tuesday.

Hit a few on the range, bit of putting, mooch around the shop, BACON SANDWICH

Doing both days. I'd expect to get there late morning, have a bite to eat, a bit of scaring the wildlife on the edges of the range, a bit of not scaring the cup on the practice green and then off!

Not sure what the wife will do with herself though? She could always guide the GoKart around the track!!

hapless, get her a buggy, that way we can get resupplied with balls, should we need to of course.

As a new forum member (and new golfer) I'd love to do this.
But I'm guessing it's too late and you can't turn up and play on the day? (I'd just do the Wednesday one)
