Anyone else going. My lad rang me a couple of times earlier today. In essence he has managed to get a couple of tickets via Ticketmaster. Spent the last couple of days on there site with no success. Saw some tickets for sale at £2.5k and £550 corporate seats which are supporting the event. Eventually got some at £40.

I have a feeling that this event could be this generations " live aid", but in a differant kind of way.
Ironic thing is he had already booked a hotel for the night in Manchester to get the " vibe " over there.

Hope it's a good un for all concerned under the circumstances.

Heard some horror stories on Radio 2 yesterday about families who were at the original gig who couldn't get tickets due to Ticketmasters system failings or summink.

He had been on and off the Ticketmaster site for a couple of days, he thinks they may be tickets for someone that was at previous gig that does not want to go to this gig. He is taking a bird who is a good pal of his. She would not believe he had tickets til he run them off and showed her.

Her music isn't my cup of tea but fair play to Ariana Grande, hell of a courageous thing to do in her circumstances.

Just watching Coldplay, never really followed them but they know how to smash it up. Very very good. Don't know what that was all about with the lanky bird on the piano.

He's just the best. Absolute different class to anything else I've heard tonight. So good to see him with his voice back - night and day difference between that and his London 2012 performance!

Not finishing his sentences, nasal, weird tone, like he's trying to change his natural voice. Sounding much more raspy, just so much more Liam. I love it. Wall of Glass is a proper tune as well.

Good show put together at short notice, some acts way better than others but that's not the point, they all came to help. Think Ariana is a little treasure, helping the choir girl through had us choked up.

Fair play for him for doing it. Although I would argue that the most dreaded words you can hear from an artist with a massive back catalogue of famous hits to chose from when you are playing just 3 songs in front of a global audience is 'here's a track from my new album....'
