an Gingle jangle morning.

Beautifully crafted guitar. Never been a fan of the sound of them but they are kind of unique. Should serve you well. My mate was a massive Beatles fan and used to say that you didn't play Beatles unless it was on a Rickenbacker.

its more for Byrds stuff TBH. Only problem is i don't think they sound quite right with valve amp. used to have a RJC just of the Ricky before, back in the days when i was in bands.

Lovely guitar.....and very good music it has been purchased to play.......but can you nail Roger McGuinn's solo on Eight Miles High? ;)

Not sure what he used, but I went and had a quick Google on his tone.

It says he plugged straight into the console when recording, running it through two Pultec limiters at the same time.
I reckon there's a good probability that half of the good music around from that era owes just as much to studio experimentation as it does musicianship.

Absolute class and now all I really wanna do is go and dig out Fifth Dimension or Mr Tambourine Man for a wee listen.

A very nice looking Guitar, but if you can't play the whole White album on it why not buy a bog standard strat? Surely you can't tell the difference

I wish you could get the same sound from a bog standard strat, but this puppy is a whole diff world away. and i'm not sure how much George used a Ricky on that.
