On the beach (hoilday company)

Anyone ever sorted a deal through them.

Seems a much better way of sorting a package out yourselfs !

Last time was about 4 years ago when 8 of us went to Crete.
Problems?

Never usd them but used last minute.com.. They were brilliant til they wasn't bust. Then the fun started.
flights were booked independent of hotel. So we had to rebook hotel that wanted more than the special deal they did with LM.com.
We had bigger probs then necessary coz we paid deposit on debit card and full amount on credit card. Lesson to be learned. Always pay for hols on credit card.
so etching else I have done is gone to Thomsons shop, looked at holiday, got price, come home and booked it on there website direct saving £3-400.
I now also make sure said holiday company is in ABTA or equivalent

The holiday was crap but "On the Beach" were fine.
Another one to use is "icelolly.com". A mate of mine uses them and raves about 'em.

Ain't that the truth, that's why I said it was more hassle than it should of been. We had to run off invoices etc. But managed to get it all back.
