I've played with a few guys off here and always enjoyed those rounds but there are a few others I would like to have a game with at some point in the future.

They are:

Socketrocket We met for a beer when I played in the Logan trophy, really nice guy and knowledgeable about golf, hopefully we can get something arranged for Broadstone.

Homer He gets a lot of mickey taking on here but I'm sure there is a nice guy behind it.

Ethan We share the same interest in shafts and technology, 4 hours of 'tech talk'!!

Snelly We have played a lot of the same top courses, would be interested in swapping stories with him.

Any of the Orka guys.....because we are all awesome :D


So come on, spill the beans....who would you like to play a round with?
 
Anyone and everyone but I would like a game with Kid if he comes to this country.
 
I'd like to get to a forum meet sometime soon but it hasn't been possible up until now. I'm sure I'd have a good time playing with anyone from the forum.

If I had to narrow it down, though, I'd like to play with Crow, as we're head to head in the h/c challenge and it would be good to meet him.

I'd also like to play with Homer, as I want to see what all those lessons have bought him. I've read his blog and many of his posts and I have an idea of him in my head, so I'd like to meet him and see what he's like in the flesh.

And I'd like to play with Fairway Dodger. She comes across as being smart, with a dry sense of humour and she can obviously play a bit. I think it would be a pleasant few hours in her company.

But that would be a fourball, and might take more than 3 hours to get round, so it'll never happen.

I'd happily play with most of the folk on the forum :D

If I had to select a few:

Fragger and Imurg - Just to see the rivalry in person.

Swinger - Just to see if the legend his driving distances are true :D

There are more! I'll post when I think of something funny to go with them :D

Thoroughly enjoyed the games with the Scottish boys, and will be up there again on Sept 1st.

As for my own quiet character... even the local lads don't enjoy my company
 
As i've said before anyone coming up here is more than welcome to play at my place which is 10 mins from St Andrews oh and nearly 200 years old:thup:
 
I have enjoyed the company of everyone from the Forum I have played with, and have had the privilege of seeing some great golf played by may partners. I look forward to that continuing for a long time.

If I had to choose 1 person who I would like to have a knock with soon then it would be Bobmac as I have not had the pleasure of his company on the course.

I've not met any fellow forumers yet, but whilst we're all having a love-in, there are several guys I'd like the chance to play with, mainly due to the tone/intelligence of their posts;

So far only played with one other forumite and thats because we're members at the same club!.. Most enjoyable though and a good crack so if you get chance to play with Latty go for it.

As for others well there really isn't anyone at all that I wouldn't like to play with even those i've had the odd tiff with as it's good to put names to faces and play with different people would even like to go north of the border and play with our scottish brethren.

If we have to pick some names though i'd like to arange a game with:

ChrisD lives not far from me and the one time I was scheduled for a kent meet some git pranged my motor the night before and we need to get a game in.

Homer: Need to mee the man behind the legend and i think it'd be enjoyable

Rooter: Definitely has a similar sense of humour and we could annoy the hell out of Bomber together...

Imurg & Fragger I want to see the rivalry in person and see the needle they give each other.
