just watched on Sky News that taking these can increase the risk of prostate cancer by up to 70%........

Then in the first set of adverts there's Carole Vordermann extolling the virtues of Red Krill Oil .........which contains Omega 3!!! ......sometimes you just can't make this stuff up.......

It's a crazy world out there!!
I have taken these at various points so another reason to worry a bit more about these things!

My rule of thumb is this:-

Foods you can't eat - Everything
Foods you can eat - Everything except red meat.

I love a good burger though!

Very rare that something that hasn't been promoted as healthy and good for you doesn't subsequently get shown to have some sort of danger.

Olive oil seems to have survived though!

Carol Vorderman's unlikely to be a victim though!

I've seen a couple more of those coincidental ads that have made me smile. There was a recent program on 'rogue' PPI claim companies followed by a couple of ads for....PPI Claims!

Main entry was about the MPs pay increase (a different number this time though). Immediately followed by an item on Denis McShane being charged over expenses claims!
