Olympic Selection, How will it work?

Will there be a qualifying campaign for each participating country?

Will it be done through money lists from that year?

Will the golfers be selected by the governing body of their country from either the golf body or their Olympic board?

Or will it be done via World Ranking points?

Also, what format will it take? Strokeplay event or Matchplay? Teams, like how the golf world cup is done? Or single players against each other?

Last I heard it was to be the top 2 from each Olympic Nation via the World rankings playing a 72 hole Stroke play....but that was a year or so ago so it may have changed by now.

they mentioned that on thursday i think it was but there was also talk of also allowing the Top 20 in first then two from each country ?

Also have heard age limit ( under 25 or 30's only etc ) been banded about

No idea but how many of the worlds top players really want to be playing in it? Going to be loads of the worlds best being left out in the likes of England, US, Spain, etc
