Not so fast Clubchamp, we're still fairly confident it'll happen at Balmedie...been taken out of the hands of Aberdeenshire councillors (thankfully) and the Scottish Government will now make the decision. This was far too big a proposal to be handled by part time local councillors anyway - hopefully the Government will see sense. I would opine that 80% of the NE people want to see this Trump development happpen. Conservation is important but peoples livelihoods are too, it's not as if they're planning an oil terminal! Alan Titchmarsh was on tv last night trying to hit a golf ball and quite rightly pointed out that the rough on a golf course is an absolute haven for wildlife.

Its crazy what the Aberdeen coucillors have done, in fact I believe one has asked for Police protection due to the amount of abuse she has taken over it all.
The councillors also only need to look at the new Machrihanish Dunes development which is being built as we speak (type!) on a " SITE OF SPECIFIC SCIENTIFIC INTEREST" ON THE MULL OF KINTYRE.
Its amazing what can be achieved with a bit of planning and advice when all parties get round the table and speak!!!!
