I recently purchased a nicely cleaned up and polished Wilson 8843. Thought it would look nice mounted at the top of the stairs.

It arrived today and I couldn't help but give it a few rattles across the floor and found I really liked it. Tempted to give it a go on the course but worried it'll mess with my head and ruin my otherwise not terrible putting with my Mizzy T102.

Why do I do these things?

Chance it... you never know... the mizzy could be on flea bay by the weekend... 😀😀😀

Gave it a rattle today. Greens were decent speed at start of round but constant rain slowed them up as things progressed.

This thing only cost £12. Was a little nervous with it to begin as it looks so unforgiving and tiny. A bad 3 putt on the first wasn't going to help settled this. After the second I started to settle into it and found it really good for distance control and the heavier feeling head didn't require much of a stroke to get the ball rolling nicely. Ball (Wilson FG Tour) felt lovely off of the face and mi***** weren't punished as much as I expected. It was a dull day so the polished head wasn't an issue but on sunny days it might be dazzling. Overall very impressed and will certainly be keeping it handy for days when I want something a little different. Will be interesting to see what it does on faster greens which will show up the weakness in my putting a little more.
