Went to the Panto today and have to say it was very entertaining, John Barrowman and The Krankies headlining (yes I know that sounds a recipe to avoid) but the Krankies were very good and Barrowman outshone and outclassed them all. Quite a few line muck ups but they handled them very well and got even more laughs.
They did a 3D part of the show which was very well done and pretty scary for the kids (plenty of screams happening at the spider bits and that was just the adults!)
Overall thoroughly entertaining for kids and adults, never thought I'd be paying £30 a head to see the Krankies and come away entertained!

THE KRANKIES coming to a car park near you soon !!!!! when it gets dark.

they played 'that card' during the show which was the best way to handle it and got plenty of laughs, even John Barrowman made an adlib when in the audience about a row of swingers (grannies) that the Krankies should 'meet' ;)

Took our Grandsons last year when they were over, we all absolutely loved it, especially my American daughter in law as they dont have panto over there and she cant understand why not.

We took our kids to Beauty and The Beast at The Hexagon in Reading, with Justin Fletcher (Mr Tumble) in it, and it really was pretty good. The boys loved it.

Went to see Aladdin last night, it was good, the production quality was brilliant but I wouldn't want to go again as there were far too many VERY young children there. Mine are 11 & 8 and really enjoyed it but is there really a necessity to take your 2yr old?

£25 for adults and £20 for kids... a lot of money to hear someone's kid crying for 20 minutes.

I was amazed last year at people there with babes in arms crying all the way through it.
