Just had the most disastrous front 11 to date, I didn't even bother keeping count it was that many and that was just the 1st, I couldn't hit my "driver" for tuppence "again" so I resorted to the trusty "3 wood" and that wasn't working either and as for the "irons" well I just as well have had a "long stick shovel" in my hands and by the time I'd got to the 8th I'd just about had enough when finally it all started to come good although far to late to redeem meself, never mind just gotta wipe it outta me head and try again another day !...:(

It shall pass

Just remember, no matter how bad things get, what goes wrong, whether you see light at the end of the tunnel or not, and how long it's lasted...

Think of the immortal words of D:Ream......

.....and then ignore them!

Things can ALWAYS get worse!

HTH

Remember a bad day on the golf course is always better than a good day at work :)

You are a handicap golfer, Rory you ain't and even he had a bad day yesterday, it's something simple that 10 mins with your pro will sort out, alignment maybe.

You'll be fine :)

No excuses but I do have to say that I've had a virus for the last couple of weeks and only really started feeling better on Tuesday/Wednesday and the chaps I was playing with yesterday both said that playing golf so soon probably wasn't The best idea I've ever had, my legs were all but shot by the 3rd and my "6 pack" (it's a beer barrel really) was/is aching from all the coughing that and sitting up all night to relieve all the coughing hasn't done me any favours so all in all it my own stupid bloody fault quite what I was expecting I don't know !...

Keep going but if it keeps going wrong, a quick lesson with a pro will get you back on the straight and narrow

Will deffo keep at it, I've been ill for the last 2-3 weeks and started to feel better last Tuesday/Wednesday so thought I'd go out and have a crack on Friday but obviously wasn't up to it, one thing I have noticed though is how much longer its taking me to get over bugs/viruses these days 10/20yrs ago I'd have just shrugged it off and carried on like nowt had happened, must be that age thing !...

Well! been out on the course today for the first time since the afore mentioned episode and all has come good again my driver work is still playing up a bit but it was a hell of a lot better than it has been for some time, my iron/wedge work are back up to full speed and I was even putting well so it seems the "enforced break" all be it "just 2 weeks" has done me the world of good and I can't wait for Sunday morning !...
