any body have one?, looking at a new cart bag, i am a ping man but not feeling the current range, so was looking around as you do and thought about ogio but never had any experience of them.

To explain a bit further, I had the synchro 2 cart bag which is around £200 rrp,

The zipper less ball pocket collected water

The pocket layout didn't seem fictional

It leaked like the titanic

Constantly twisted on the trolley

And the hoode system was impractical

this is exactly what i need to hear mate, dont want to spend on some thing that i wont be happy with, thanks for replies:thup:

Will be getting my Ogio carry bag out of the cupboard for tomorrows game at Matfen. Its a while since I carried but I must admit the Ogio is very easy to get on with. Don't have any experience of their cart bags though, I usually have my Powakaddy bag on the GoKart but tomorrow I'm going to get a bit extra exercise :D try to lose a bit of Christmas fat

What does the Ogio have that the Ping/other bags don't have, have you got a model/type in mind. Looking at AG and few other places the Ogio isn't a cheap bag, personally I can recommend this bag, loads of pockets, clubs are nicely organised and has a separate putter slot at the side which is a must for me, and it looks good as well.

I wanted the ogio to be as good as their other luggage bags but it fell sadly short, even the devider system was poor and the clubs didn't go in smoothly..... Such a shame

dont know anything about ogio so thats why i am asking:thup:

My other half loves her bag and has had it for a good few years! Still as new condition and everything works fine!

the only drawback is the when it hammers it down (really heavy stuff) it does let in water

They can be very hit and miss. I used to own a Grom stand bag and found it excellent. However bought a cart bag to match-ish and it was hopeless. I now tend to stick to Sun mountain or Titleist. I used to be an avid Ping Hoofer fan but thety are simply hard to come by at reasonable prices.

I've had loads of bags, I wish I had just gone for what I have now at the beginning, a neutral Sun Mountain H2NO brand, its waterproof, light, has all the dividers, pockets, etc you need, I'd have saved a fortune.

Live & learn..

I have a Sun Mountain cart bag. Only used it a couple of times as I usually carry, but it is a cracking bag, fits all trolleys. Had my Sun Mountain carry bag for about three years now and it is just as good.

Had an Ogio grom and it was a great carry bag but it was heavy, I had no complaints. No experience of cart bags but I've not heard many talk well of Ogio cart bags.
