Off to Wembley

Off to Wembley in an hour to watch the mighty Spain and the not so mighty England. It's my 1st visit to the new stadium after watching England v Argentina which was the penultimate game at the old stadium.

Going with my 28 year old son who has watched football with me since he was 5 years old and we are going with my sister and the BIL who is one of my golfing pals - so much to enjoy!

Enjoy it, it's one of the best stadiums around.
You might need to re-mortgage the house if your planning on having food in the stadium though.

Travelling was brilliant from Kent on fast train and underground, home in a couple of hours. Food and drinks expensive in the stadium . Two beers £9. Spain awesome, England pretty crap although Parker the pick of ours. Stadium really good

watched it on tv expecting a bashing and was pleasantly suprised. They were the better team and we were pegged back in our own half for most of the second half but we held on. I think the phil jones position could prove to be the missing link for us. Got to agree about Parker, he had a really good game. Got to be a ray of light after recent performances against top class opposition.
