Flying out to Turkey tomorrow for a week with the wife and young un. But I am taking the clubs and have rounds booked on Sueno Pines and Montgomery Maxx Royal.

Anyone played these two and have any upfront advice to help me get the best out of playing them?

In 20 years of visiting Turkey and playing golf almost every time I've never even seen a snake.

Scorpion, yes (once, and it was a big one which for some reason I think are less painful and therefore less dangerous than the little ones). But the worst things there are mosquitoes...

Enjoy, I hear its a delight!

Not sure what your holiday "deal" is but when I played the MMR back in May we (all 14 of us) were effectively classed as "members" for the day and all post round drinks and food were free of charge...might have been because the MMR was affiliated to the all inclusive resort we were staying at....so the "all inclusive" effectively extended itself to the golf club.....might be worth checking if you are on an all inclusive deal!!!

Played them both last year. We stayed at the Sueno Deluxe so it was only a short walk down. Practice facilities at the Maxx are amazing and take advantage of the free grub/drink at the clubhouse. I know this is low season so check for maintenance. I preferred the Dunes course as it's a bit shorter/easier but the Pines is a fair test and nicely laid out. You'll have a great time.. we are going back again in May and I cant wait.

Saw two snakes on the back nine a large black one slithering down the cart path on the tenth and a smaller one in the wasteland
I hate snakes

Sueno Pines is a lovely course. Long and tight in some areas but enjoyed it. See I played today thread (although it was yesterday)

Montys big course on Monday. Hotel I am in is affiliated to the Maxx Royal so just over the road.

Night golf at Carya!

Is the correct answer. If you get the opportunity, do it, it's a fantastic experience.
