Off to the ballet?

It's the good lady's 60th today and as part of the array of gifts I have bought her i got 2 tickets for the Nutcracker at the Royal Opera House. I am firmly in the "why do they always dance on tip toes, couldn't they get taller girls" mentality!

Do I go with her or suggest that she goes with someone who will not sleep, eat popcorn, yawn and fart all the way through it?

I suggest you stand in front of a mirror, and say the following in a deep, gruff gravelly voice, "I am a man" repeatedly. Then buy her tickets for a rugby match at Twickers.

Alternatively, take her to the ballet. And tomorrow sign up for pairs flower arranging or crochet.

Went to the ballet once and saw Swan Lake. Didn't enjoy it but glad I went to try it. Went to the opera and hated that so much I left at the interval. Not sure I've a cultural bone in my body
