Didn't know they did competitions where you had to meet the above criteria to play in them Chris. Hope all goes well with the second hip op, and you are back on the course soon.

My brother is due to have a hip replacement next month, so I'll tell him it might lead to a trophy win!

Mary, I wish your brother well. I am having a hip resurface which is a good option for someone of my age and when I had the last on done 2 years ago I played 9 holes after 2 weeks! This thime I think it could be 4 to 5 weeks as it's on the side that I swing on to so it takes the (considerable) weight.
