Myself and three pals off to the ALgarve on Wednesday for 5 nights--playing 4 full rounds Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday together with 9 Holes Wednesday afternoon.

Looking forward to a few days golf in the sunshine. Roll on Wednesday. :)

Dodger--Got a deal from Oceanico--5 nights accommodation 4 rounds of golf €470 euros staying in Estrala Da Luz, near Praia Da Luz.
9 holes at Penina the Resort Course-its a 9 hole course so great for a warm up on Wednesday afternoon. Playing Alamos, Palmeres, Morgado and Boavista.

We intend to enjoy ourselves-no wives or kids.

Poor old RGS. 5 days in the sun in southern Europe. Golf, good company and a few refreshments, maybe. Never mind, RGS, the office (or whatever) will be waiting for you when you get back to Dublin! Enjoy!

Dodger thanks for the preview of the courses.

Shanker--thanks to you for pointing out the downside of getting away from the office. :D

One of the lads takes part in triathlons and was involved in one yesterday and came off his bike twice--apparently the road surface was dangerous--about 20 cyclist fell off.
He managed to fall on same side twice resulting in cuts grazes and bruises along his right hand side-at present he is struggling to swing his right arm--hopefully he will be alrght by thursday.

Hope your pal makes it RGS. If not he'll have to lift his glass with the other hand. Looking forward to your accounts of the trip. ;)
