What's everyone's verdict? I posted on here a while ago about how I was going to treat myself to a (fairly) good putter to last me a long time, and then in a month or two get myself a set of irons to do the same (currently rocking some 20+ year old Wilson irons and putters from gumtree!)

got out myself some callaway v series woods and a razr x black driver (pre owned) for Christmas to complete my bag (never had any woods) so now it's about upgrading The rubbish irons and putter.

looking at this option https://www.clickgolf.co.uk/product...JUKFPKf8zcweP2szUgjWrwSP-yIALIyvRQaAsMj8P8HAQ

seems a a decent price for a good putter that I've tried out in AG before. Any advice? I've emailed to ask if it comes with a head over because I'd like to keep it in good condition!

Odyssey make quality products. You can buy that putter and feel relaxed about your purchase. If you have tried it and like it then go for it. Nothing to worry about.

Putters are very personal clubs. What suits one person will be a disaster to another. I personally would not buy a putter that I hadn't tried first. Find a local retailer that you can try putters at.

Note, I have an Odyssey and I love it. They make great putters 👍

I played with a white hot rossie a few years ago. I found the insert to be very soft. If you like the feel off the face then it will be fine. I just struggled from long distance as it just felt so soft.

Is that the cheapest you can find it? I've seen a few other Odysseys in AG for around the £30 mark. May be worth a check there.

I have an Odyssey tank #1 counter balanced like this http://www.clubhousegolf.co.uk/acatalog/Odyssey-Tank-Series-Putters.html for sale if you want to PM me and we can discuss a price (and photos available and can be put up on the for sale section if required)

As others have said, whatever type of Odyssey you go for, they don't make rubbish putters and it's down to personal preference what type suits

Cheers. I had a play around with some of the types in AG and found the 7 suited me better. Otherwise I'd be all over it! 79 seems like a decent price to what I've found elsewhere (seen the OP putter, used, 8 condition on golf bidder for 70) so I think I might go for the one I posted

No sweat. If you don't get on with it or develop a putter fixation like many on here let me know and you can have first dibs

I've got an Odyssey White Hot Pro Center Shafted putter - recommended to me by my pro as I had used an Acushnet Bullseye flange putter for 30yrs. I love, love, love it.

Recently gone from my 'Ping Karsten C67' back to my 'Odyssey White Hot Rosie' and am doing real well, I'd forgotten just how good Odyssey's are...

Got an odyssey two ball and love it. Since i got back into golf i have swopped
my driver three times irons the same. Woods the same. But my vokey
wedges and putter are staying.

I picked up a 2-ball in AG yesterday for £32. Early days, but it feels much better than the Nike Method I was using previously.

Love my #7, bit different to most too!

Just recently switched back to an odyssey. Great putters and for me always feel great off the face. I also have the #7 in the versa black white black. The different type of alignment helps me square up the face better than just a line on the head.

You'll not be disappointed if you go for an Odyssey.
