Just seen the haka at start of France game - noted they haev reverted to teh "throat cutting" version

I thougt that had been "binned/banned" ?

Not keen on these new hakas. Much prerfer the original "Ka Mate, Ka Mate" one as I understand it is very old and steeped in Maori mythology. It also sounds and looks way better than the newer versions.

Never understood why other teams stand for it -load of tosh, the scots should don their kilts and give them a Braveheart salute. :D

Love the Haka and agree that the Ka Mate version is the best. The throat cut though should be binned. IMO the Welsh response to it from a few years ago is the best, particularly with the atmosphere from the crowd as well.

Just wish we did this a bit more at HQ when the All Blacks are in town!

Not fuseed for it, the NZ world cup record is poor in the latter stages so it clearly frightens no-one.

I understand the Maori descent players doing it but why the white European descent New Zealanders - it's nothing to do with their culture.

The Haka is an icon. Every rugby fan would pay money to stand up to the All Blacks doing it. I have faced it when done by one fairly large kiwi and it was awesome.

Haven't watched the clips, but didn't one team line up and then slowly advance until they were right under the noses of the Kiwi's ?
