NSW golf club

Just watched Rick Shiels playing New South Wales golf club in Botany Bay, Oz. What a place, looks absolutely amazing.
Has anyone here been lucky enough to play it?
Any suggestions for something in a similar vein on these shores that I might actually be able to get on?

A mate of mine lived in Oz for a few years and played it several times. He's played many top courses including Pebble Beach and he said it takes Pebble to the cleaners. It's definitely on my wishlist.

It looks absolutely stunning on the vid. I thought it looked pebble-esque, but nicer.

I was lucky enough to play it in 2008 - just before one of the bicg Aussie comps (Masters I think). It was in great condition and the holes down by the sea are breathtaking there's a par 3 - the 5th or 6th I think - where the tee is right out on a rocky outcrop and nothing but rocks and sea between you and the green. Great fun! Even the inland holes are of high quality and make you think. The members are very welcoming too - we had a cracking day out there - still got my NSW logo golf socks!!
