Nowhere to watch Masters now ?? :-(

It does seem ridiculous that arguably the best tv watchable tournament of the year and a major to boot isn't on tv for more coverage.
They've been on the course for hours now and all we'll see is a bit of live coverage of whomever is going out late, no matter what score they're on.
Despite the ads I wish Sky had it, at least we'd see more coverage!

I'm glad it's not just me sitting here thinking the BBC coverage is poor quality. I could not believe coverage started yesterday as Tigers round was virtually finished.

I think Tiger should have his own 'Tiger Cam' just following him. (Sorry but i think he is just amazing).

Afraid i am a bit spoilt after watching Golf on Sky and Setanta Golf Channel.

I'm with you Fore, i've watched most of this years PGA events on Sky & Setanta and, aprt from the adverts, you cannot knock the amount of coverage you get.

I've sussed the best way to watch anyway, set the V+ box to record it and sit down an hour after it starts watching on delay....fast forward through all the ads and jobs a good un!!

The only good thing about BBC covering it is i get it on the BBC HD channel and Augusta looks mega pretty in HD :D

Must admit KeefG i do that as a matter of course with virtually everything i watch now. I have a little session now and than checking whats coming on and set it to record the whole series.

Came unstuck a while back though when my box expired and had to have new one, lost loads of stuff i had not watched.
Glad i had the Sky insurance though, it would have cost a bomb to pay for a new box myself.

As someone else mentioned, it's not The BBC who decides the amount of coverage, it's Augusta.I might be wrong, but up until 5/6 years ago, they only allowed the back 9 to be covered?
Anyway, I've been less than impressed by Lineker's hosting so far, he may be a decent golfer and a reasonable football pundit, but The Majors deserve someone from the field of golf covering their sport.

Thats not correct, CBS Sports in the US have shown coverage from start to finish of both openeing rounds and their coverage starts today at 3:30pm so will cover all of todays play too.

Its just us over here, we get shafted.

I just hope & pray the BBC arent as rubbish for when they cover The Open.

Where did you get this information from? According to the Masters website, CBS don't show any of the first two days...it's ESPN that has shown it so far. CBS will cover tonight and tomorrow live.

As for quantity of coverage, ESPN has shown 3.5 hours of coverage on each of the first 2 days and CBS will show 3.5 hours tonight and 5 hours on tomorrow, which is exactly the same as the BBC shows. As has been pointed out by others in this thread, it's the Masters Committee who decide how much TV coverage is allowed, not the networks.

Both the US networks and the BBC have shown additional of e.g. Amen Corner online (and on the Beeb's red button).

As for our coverage as it's been mentioned Augusta dictate what coverage we get. BBC are showing all they are allowed. Septic tanks coverage may be working to different rules.

Unfortunately only place to track scores is the web.

Harrington has lost the title as he has just taken 9 on the par 5 second to drop to +2.
