I have had emails in the past from NOW TV and they have been genuine.

I tried their helpline and got 3 different operators all with Indian Christian names and got cut off each time so gave up.Poor service rally.

More likely Indian Hindu names!

Look for any characters that might be easy to mix up
I & L for example in some fonts. O & 0, that sort of thing.

I had one of the Carlsberg codes once that wouldn't accept but the support guy sorted it out fine.
