We thought you might like to know ... we have a NEW COURSE RECORD !
Sam Buckle, is a 23 year old NPGC member and County Player NUGC who is now playing off 0.2.
Sam's round yesterday is a new amateur course record and equals the professional course record. He was round in a gross 66 (6 under par) and the round consisted of 6 birdies and an albatross 2 at the par 5 14th - an albatross is rarer than a hole in 1!
Also, according to his card, he was round in only 3 hours and 5 minutes! Now there's a good advert for pace of play!
2 course records in 1: number of shots taken and length of time taken!
What a fantastic start for the season ! Well done Sam ...
